About BSB Consulting
BSB Consulting was founded to bridge two perspectives that are often separated: the experience of people navigating complex professional systems and the organisations responsible for designing and delivering those systems.
Founder
Balraj S Bahra
Balraj's background spans medical education and clinical environments, biomedical science, health policy, pharmacy, residential social care and organisational improvement.
He holds an MBBS and BSc from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in Health Policy, Planning and Financing from the London School of Economics and the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine.
His experience across clinical environments, community pharmacy and residential social care has provided insight into how healthcare systems operate at multiple levels. This includes from individual experience and frontline delivery to governance, policy and organisational decision-making.
These experiences have shaped his interest in the intersection between individual experience, professional expectations and organisational systems. He is particularly interested in how these factors interact, how those interactions shape outcomes, and how they can be better understood and improved.
