A quality-improvement case study examining the interaction between communal supervision requirements, falls-risk management, morning personal-care demand and workforce deployment within residential social care.
Using the OASIS Framework, the project examined how an appropriate safety requirement could create operational pressure when implemented within an already constrained workflow.

The completed review was presented to care-home management and used to support discussion around workforce deployment, supervision and practical service improvement.

Professionalism & Career Advisory
Navigating a Health-related Professionalism Concern
An anonymised advisory case involving a student facing an internal professionalism review, with concern that the matter could potentially progress into formal fitness-to-practise procedures.
BSB Consulting provided structured support around organising the relevant facts, understanding the available process, identifying appropriate sources of external support, preparing for the review and approaching the issue with clarity and reflection.
Relevant professional guidance and published case material were also used to help contextualise the distinction between poor practice, misconduct, intent, insight and remediation.
Outcome
Following the internal review, the matter was determined not to constitute academic misconduct. It was classified as poor practice and the matter was subsequently closed.
